- Stretch the pizza dough on a piece of parchment paper, lightly brush the surface with olive oil.
- Sprinkle minced garlic, salt, and pepper over the dough.
- Layer the mozzarella cheese, ricotta (if using), lemon zest, and thin slices of lemon on top.
- Bake the pizza for 10–13 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Top your freshly baked pizza with fresh basil and optional red pepper flakes or a drizzle of honey.
