  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 tablespoons Melted butter

  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • ¼ cup Fresh parsley chopped
  • ¼ cup Fresh basil or oregano chopped
  • 2 cups Shredded cheese mozzarella or blend

Bread Preparation Steps
  1. Start by combining warm milk or water with sugar in a small bowl. Sprinkle active dry yeast on top and let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes foamy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the activated yeast mixture and melted butter. Stir everything together until a dough forms.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until it's smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
  5. After rising, punch down the dough to release air. Roll it out into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick and spread the softened butter evenly over the surface.
  6. Sprinkle minced garlic, chopped herbs, and shredded cheese evenly across the dough.
  7. Gently roll the dough tightly from one long edge to the other, forming a log. Place it seam-side down in a greased loaf pan, and let it rise again for another 30 minutes until puffy.
  8. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the bread for about 35 minutes, or until it’s golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
